My perspective is shaped by the entrepreneurial spirit of my delightfully unemployable family, the feminine/little sister urge to balance the scales of justice, and the sense that magic is real, and reveals itself when we need it most.

It shows up in every story I choose to tell about people reclaiming their power through determination and humor.

When I’m not writing (or podcasting about writing), you’ll find me lawyering, performing, gardening, and throwing parties, still gathering the moments that shape the work.

My shelves are full of stories where charming underdogs claim the spotlight, wrongs are made right, and smart, funny women save the day. And I can’t stop exploring books that show us absolutely anything is possible.

Before I called
myself a writer..

I was a union lawyer searching for my larger purpose, learning to stand up for myself at work, and quietly questioning whether being an adult meant leaving whimsy and wonder behind.
Each of those chapters taught me that real strength comes from authenticity, which now shapes how I write, how I practice law, and who I do it for.
